Even if that planning permission application is granted, is there an investment company out there, which will spend the millions needed to implement those proposals ?

I have me doubts ......

Who on the Council is getting the brown envelope?

That is the question!

Where is Eckersleys mill?
Is it that one near the pier that caught fire or is it that one near Poolstock?

It will be the one near Poolstock and it is a massive site, but mostly derelict.

It’s opposite the pier…the scaffolding etc was going up today

It'll need a lot of scaffolding.

Seems a very favourable initiative... but I wonder if it will suddenly come to a halt - just like work on the Pier complex.

The site of Eckersley's Mill is the curtilage of (everything inbetween) Swan Meadow Road, Pottery Terrace and Pottery Road.

I'm interested, but only in the construction aspect of it.
I don't 'care' enough to participate in a meeting, or a discussion about it.
